Amenities

  • Hub’s Hideaway has two bedrooms—one with a king bed, the other with a queen bed.  The couch in the living room unfolds into a bed.
  • There is one full bath, and a half bath located adjacent to the master bedroom.
  • The main living area includes a living room, kitchen, and dining area, with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the river.  The dining table seats four.
  • The kitchen is furnished with an electric range and oven, microwave, and full-sized refrigerator.
  • The living room is fully furnished, and includes a wood-burning fireplace and a flat-screen TV with satellite, DVR, and a DVD player.
  • The front of the cabin has a screened-in porch facing the river that includes a hot tub, charcoal grill, and patio furniture.
  • The cabin sits in a clearing in the middle of an old-growth forest with huge sycamores, shag bark hickories, and a variety of oak trees.
  • There is a walkway right down to the river, with a good place to fish from the bank.  There is also a great area to pull up a boat on soft sand and silt.
  • A washer and dryer are located in the basement, and you will need to bring your own laundry detergent.  The washer uses well water, which has some minerals that may discolor light clothes.
  • There is no maid service during your stay, and no internet connection is available currently.
